From March through November of 2021, I worked as a Miller Center Fellow paired with client company: Innovation Works. Innovation Works is a community and economic development organization committed to reducing Baltimore's neighborhood and racial wealth divide.
In consultation with Innovation Works, my team was responsible for developing a revised marketing and communication strategy to improve the organizations reach to key stakeholders.
Along with a strategic communication plan that outlined key recommendations, my team produced and edited two short films to reinforce IW's mission and messaging:
Innovation that Works (17 minutes) is a short documentary looking at the Baltimore communities and programs connected to Innovation Works. This short film profiles Innovation Works and the collaborative change-making they are engaging in with Baltimore social entrepreneurs. The film was described by one employee, Sally Ratrie, as, “a love letter to Baltimore.” The inspiring stories of this company and the genius entrepreneurs seeking out innovative solutions aim to ignite hope and change in Baltimore and around the world.
The Bold Mission  (4 minutes) is a glimpse into the Baltimore communities and programs connected to Innovation Works, a social enterprise development network pursuing their bold mission to reduce the racial wealth divide through social entrepreneurship. This short video seeks to introduce you to Innovation Works and some of their partnering entrepreneurs.
